Our Appraisal Process

When you contact Jaynes Appraisals, we will discuss your appraisal on the telephone or via email. During this free appraisal consultation, we will discuss the items you would like appraised and the purpose of your appraisal.  Once we have conducted preliminary research, we will send an appraisal estimate and contract. We will also schedule an appointment to document your items.

At your appointment, will take photographs, measure the items, and look for identifying characteristics. We typically document in your home or office to avoid the need to transport your property. We will use this information to research the values for your appraisal report. This research will include a variety of sources and collaboration with experts if warranted. Within two to four weeks, as the appraisal nears completion, we will contact you to let you know it's ready.

Your appraisal will be mailed and/or emailed to you, depending on your preference.

We look forward to discussing your appraisal project!
